Yesterday was fun! Saw 'Four Christmases' and 'The day the earth stood still'. The movies were surely not bad, but I would not recommend 'Four Christmases' to those who are used to Vince Vaughn comedies and are looking for something similar in this movie. It is supposed to be a romantic 'comedy' but this comedy isn't what you are used to seeing in Vince's other movies. I found him really disappointing. Reese Witherspoon was artificial too. Overall, the movie really didn't transition into a climax, it just bumped into it. I was watching the movie and the story line was still unfolding and suddenly I saw the credits come up from the bottom! Anywho, there wasn't much choice and I wanted to see a comedy so I went for it. Keanu Reeves on the other hand was pretty good in this sci-fi alien invasion flick (which is a remake of an old movie...didn't know that until I imdbed it 10 minutes prior to the movie started!). There is a message at the end of the movie and I think . For some reason, I thought I was watching The Matrix for a fair proportion of the movie because Keanu Reeves has a Neo-like role as the saviour and the one! Jennifer Conelly looked really cute. Overall it had a decent story-line, except that the aliens didn't seem to have a USP you know? I mean they could just do anything. Touch and burn, see and kill, eat and kill or whatever! I would have loved to see a lot more giant robot action. That's one thing which every movie-goer will agree to I'm sure!

This is the only concert I've attended till date but I think I want to attend such concerts more often. For over 45 minutes, I was wondering whether it's Oasis or Ryan Adams (the opening band), ultimately I realized when the stage was redone with four vertical screens and awesome lights that Oasis was yet about to play! hehehe.... They started off with a bang with with 'Rock N Roll Star'. They played some singles from their latest album too but I enjoyed 'Champagne Supernova' and 'Don't look back in Anger' the most. I always found Noel Gallagher's voice much soothing than his younger brother Liam. Although, Liam sounds better with the fast songs. Some of the best songs I enjoyed at the concert: 1) Wonderwall - Liam sung it, I would have preferred Noel! 2) Rock N Roll star - The 'once more' was worth it! 3) Slide Away 4) Don't look back in Anger - Noel sang this and a couple of others but I enjoyed this one the most.
